Work Experience ProgramThe Adult Training & Habilitation Center is able to provide an opportunity for student with developmental disabilities from area school. While attending ATHC, students will develop their vocational skills by learning and completing a variety of jobs and earn a wage based on work they complete. Students will also gain social skills through interacting with staff and consumers at ATHC. This service is free of charge to the schools and individuals attending. School Responsibilities - Schools are required to provide transportation to and from ATHC. Education Assistants are responsible for students at all times while at ATHC and will provide all job training and required paperwork. ATHC staff will train Education Assistants so they are able to ensure the quality of all jobs provided. Student Requirements - Students must be at least 15 years of age and have been diagnosed with a developmental disability. ATHC Site Information - ATHC has work sites in Winsted and Hutchinson. Both facilities are one level, easily accessible, and adapted for all physical abilities. ATHC sites are open for students to attend Monday through Friday.
